I participated in the International Society of Typography Designer competition. The project I was assigned by the ISTD was called ‘Colourful Story’ where you produce a publication where you pick a colour and relate it to a specific culture.

I chose the colour blue and the focus of my project was the blue throat chakra that originated in India. The throat chakra is called Vishuddha and is located in the throat and represents communication, growth and expression. It has a flower that has 16 petals with a Hindu symbol in the centre to represent the name of the chakra called Vishuddha.

The publication is designed by using Procreate and InDesign. The publication is aimed at those who have underactive (who suffer from anxiety) or overactive (who are restless) and cure their throat chakra by providing different approaches such as yoga to balance their chakra and find their truth and be the best version of themselves.
